Riding in the San Jacinto mountains is
sheer delight. You will experience cool mountain
breezes, tall pines, majestic mountain vistas,
wildflower-filled meadows, and gentle running
creeks. Wildlife is abundant, with deer and
coyote sightings daily. Hawks and eagles soar
above the valley floor 4000 feet below.
In the summer, the temperatures are generally
30 degrees cooler than the palm desert area
below, and the quaint mountain resort of
Idyllwild can become a respite from the heat.
You can enjoy lunch before or after your ride or
pick up some deli items and enjoy a picnic in a
remote meadow while the wrangler takes care of
your horses.
